Qovoltis finances, installs, supervises, and maintains the charging stations. You provide a parking space and earn a commission on each charge.
How much does it cost to install an EV charging station for a campsite?
The price depends on the chosen model. With a self-investment model, the installation cost ranges from €3,000 to €5,000 per charging point, plus a monthly supervision fee of €10 to €15. Under the Qovoltis third-party investment model, installation is free: Qovoltis covers all costs in exchange for a 5% commission on each charging session, a beneficial arrangement for the campsite.
Can I open the charging stations to the public?
The choice is entirely yours. You can reserve the charging stations exclusively for your customers or make them accessible to the public. They will then automatically appear on listing applications like Chargemap, generating additional traffic to your site.
How long does it take to install charging stations at a campsite?
For campsites, due to the need to create a new Enedis supply point (PDL), the installation process takes approximately 18 weeks from the contract signing.
Are there specific grants for campsites for charging station installation?
Direct national grants like ADVENIR will no longer be available for campsites in 2026. Some regions offer co-financing as part of sustainable tourism programs: inquire with your regional council. Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) may also be claimed depending on your establishment's legal structure. The Qovoltis third-party investment model remains the most direct solution: no upfront payment required.
How do I list my campsite on charging apps?
Upon activation, Qovoltis charging stations can be listed on Chargemap and major charging platforms, providing immediate visibility to passing drivers. With the Qovoltis third-party investment model, all these steps (listing, supervision, and interoperability) are fully managed.
How long is the commitment?
The contract is for several years (10 to 15 years depending on the sites). Upon its expiration, you have several options: renewal or repurchase of the charging stations.
